Article 4 — Residential Zoning Districts, Chapter 4-5 — R-O RESIDENTIAL AND OFFICE DISTRICT
§ 4-5-1
Purpose and Intent
The R-O Residential and Office District is established to encourage and assure a compatible mixture of residential, office, and commercial land uses. The district allows for greater flexibility of use for existing structures, encouraging their continued viability while permitting new mixed-use buildings and nonresidential development at scales compatible with residential neighborhoods. Special procedures for the review of building design and uses are recognized as essential for the establishment and maintenance of the character of this district, as outlined in Chapter 8-2.
