Article 5 — Nonresidential Zoning Districts, Chapter 5-3 — C-B CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT
§ 5-3-1
Purpose and Intent
The Central Business (C-B) District is intended for the most intensive use of commercial, retail, services and offices, providing a compact, pedestrian-friendly area of economic activity in the city.
This district consists of buildings with high lot coverage, no building setbacks, and minimal off-street parking. Permitted uses shall contribute to a pedestrian-friendly central business district.
Automobile-related facilities and services are not appropriate to the character of the district.
