Article 5 — Nonresidential Zoning Districts, Chapter 5-2 — N-B NEIGHBORHOOD BUSINESS DISTRICT
§ 5-2-1
Purpose and Intent
The Neighborhood Business (N-B) District is intended to form nodes of development serving the residents within a 1 to 2-mile radius. Such areas are typically made up of small-scale commercial uses, services, and offices, while also allowing residential uses on a limited basis.
This district excludes uses that rely on passer-by traffic from highways. The overall character of neighborhood business districts is such that access by both vehicles and pedestrians is possible.
